Xilam Films is pleased to announce the greenlight of its upcoming adult-targeted psychological thriller, The Wolf with Bidibul Productions, Goodfellas, ARP and Crunchyroll on Board. The animated feature is adapted from Jean-Marc Rochette’s acclaimed graphic novel, first published in France by Editions Casterman. Set to be delivered in April 2027, The Wolf is written and directed by Benjamin Massoubre and Fursy Tessier, and co-written with Sabine Dabadie.
The film’s voice cast is led by César Award winner Roschdy Zem and Cannes 2026 winner Virginie Efira.

When best friends Bobby and Romy accidentally open a portal to evil, their tranquil coastal town transforms into a hotspot for terrifying creatures of doom. As the ordinary teens navigate this extraordinary mystery, they face off against literal and inner monsters in this epic comedy that combines thrills, chills, and emotional spills.

Created by Rémi Zaarour, Andrès Fernandez and Henry Gifford, directed by Andrès Fernandez, and produced by Xilam Animation for Disney Television Animation, this supernatural comedy-adventure series will premiere on Disney+ on June 26 + with 22 half-hour episodes, along with a new short-form series featuring four episodes.

Selected for the 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival, The Doomies will compete in the TV Series category.

Adapted from “Listen to the Moon” by British author Michael Morpurgo, the film follows Lucy, a mysterious girl with visions no one else can see, who meets her secret friend Milly. Together, they set out on a magical quest to uncover the secret behind her mysterious powers.
